20 August, 2016 the festival of national cultures, named after one of traditional Moksha treats, was held in Ruzaevka district. The holiday has become an international one: among participants of the event were not only performance groups from Mordovia regions, but also from other Finno-Ugric regions of Russia and amateur groups come from Estonia, Finland. Thus, Kurgonya has become the continuation of the international festival «Suguvastavundu» in its own way as they both aimed to unite Finno-Ugric nations through the communication and acquaintance with ethnic art, customs, crafts and national cuisine.

OOO «Likerovodochnyy zavod Saranskiy» has conducted free presentation-degustation of nonalcoholic beverages. All guests have been satisfied because we could not allow leaving the participants thirsty in such hot day!

World Quality Week
This year the WQD falls on 12 November 2021 and is held under the motto "Quality for all - quality for everyone". The international holiday is organized by the European Organization for Quality with the support of the United Nations.
