The final of the Russian cup in figure skating will be held from 13 to 17 February in the capital of Mordovia. The final of the Cup of Russia in figure skating.

The tournament will provide an opportunity for the sportsmen to be selected to the national teams of Russia for the new season. There are five strongest figure skaters in each of the categories who can make it to the team, except for adult participants couples and dancing duets. On the eve, there was the participants allocations draw and the start of dancing couple’s performances which will end today. In addition, young men and sports couples can take part in the competition for awards. The Republic of Mordovia will be represented by the duet Valentina Chernyshova and Mikhail Okulov, as well as the native of Saransk Artem Timakin.
