Republican walking race with prizes from Honorary Citizen Nicolay Ivanovich Merkushkin has started on 19 June in Novye Verhissy village. Sportsmen from of the younger and older age groups competed at a distance of 3 km. The winners were awarded and they received gift money. Among the special guests the organizer of the event, the governor of the Samara region Nicolay Ivanovich Merkushkin was present at the event.

Trademark «Inzera» has become the sponsor of the competitions, having produced drinking water for the sportsmen and also memorable gifts for the special guests.
